PLANT - SHUTDOWN INSPECTION SERVICES

PRESSURE VESSEL INSPECTION

(DRUMS, COLUMNS, HEAT EXCHANGER, REACTORS, FILTERS, STRAINERS, REFORMERS ,STATIC MIXERS, ETC.)

To determine the physical condition of the vessel and to determine the type, rate and causes of damage mechanisms and associated deterioration, pressure vessels shall be inspected at least at 1/2 of the remaining vessel life, or 10 years, whichever is less.

Our certified NDT technicians and licensed engineers will provide a comprehensive inspection of your process equipment and provide preventative measures to avoid equipment failure. Pressure vessel Inspection and assessment include:

  • Visual Inspection
  • Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement
  • Penetrant Testing
  • Magnetic Particle Testing
  • PMI (alloy identification)
  • Hardness Test
  • Borescope Inspection
  • Replica

BOILER INSPECTION

Water Tube & Fire Tube Boiler Inspection During shutdown

Visual Inspection of Internal Sections

  •  VT of refractories (floors, walls, roofs, man-ways)
  •  VT of explosion doors for corrosion, warpage and sealing
  •  VT of steel supports, beams and hangers

Inspection of Boiler Tubes

  • UTM of tubes and headers
  • VT of fin tubes for mechanical damage, distortion and corrosion
  • VT of tubes in economizer and superheater, and
  • Replication test on superheater tubes
  • VT of tube weld joints

Inspection of Burners, Hangers & Pipe Support

  • UTM on fuel gas and fuel oil piping systems
  • VT of refractories around burner components

PIPING SYSTEM INSPECTION

Piping Inspection is a comprehensive task that is performed following a client-approved Inspection and Test Plan or ITP prepared with reference to the piping design code and reference project specifications.

ITP PACKAGE FOR STATIC EQUIPMENT
We provide ITP Package for Static Equipment:
  • On-stream inspection
  • Shutdown/Turnaround inspection
The inspection plan shall contain the inspection tasks and schedule required to monitor damage mechanisms and assure the mechanical integrity of the equipment

DETERMINATION AND ANALYSIS OF CORROSION CIRCUITS (CORROSION LOOPs)

“RBI Corrosion loops” or “RBI corrosion circuits” are systematized piping loops or circuits  used in Risk Based Inspection analysis to assess possibility of failure.

We service and support client to prepare Corrosion loops grouping the damage mechanism types helpful to manage the risks assessment by P&ID marked up and summarize and analyze data in accordance with API Code requirements.
